Electric vehicles were a bright spot for several automakers. GM said that 2024 was its best year for EV sales ever, selling about 114,000 EVs, a 50% gain over 2023. Ford said that last year, each of Ford’s EVs (the Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning and E-Transit) set sales records.
