Mayor Dominick Pangallo is pleased to announce that the City of Salem has been selected as one of 25 municipalities to participate in the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center’s (“MassCEC”) On-Street Charging Solutions Program as part of the Feasibility Study offering. This program aims to assess the potential for on-street electric vehicle charging solutions in locations which benefit residents and Environmental Justice Communities where off street parking options are not available. Being selected to participate in this program helps to advance the City’s mobility goals as outlined in Resilient Together with the goal of increasing accessible electric vehicle charging infrastructure for Salem residents.
